An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
